Meet the Upavon Team

Clive is an event planner extraordinaire.   Clive has been in the meetings and incentive travel business for over 65 years.  He has a solid background as Managing Director for many years and he brings to event management a unique set of skills where the financial management of the event is of paramount importance.  Clive’s experience on a variety of executive boards as a volunteer including a major city hospital and Jockey club ensures that Clive’s experience and focus on matters around corporate governance are astute.  Having managed numerous events around the world he leads a well oiled team as Managing Director of Upavon Management where his attention to detail is known throughout the industry.

Jenny has worked in the conference industry for over 40 years.  From 2004 to 2023 Jenny managed the day to day activities of SAPICS, the Professional Body for Supply Chain Management in South Africa.  During this time she became involved with various entities focused on supply chain management in public health including People that Deliver – a global organisation focusing on the workforce in public health supply chains.  Jenny is a natural and competent communicator and team leader with strong event management experience combined with a passion for supply chain management and public health development.

Cynthia has worked with Upavon Management for over 25 years and brings with her a wealth of experience in the management of people especially arrangements to ensure hassle free attendance for all delegates.  Her calm and thorough approach is well received by all who attend events managed by Upavon. Cynthia also has a sound background in financial co-ordination and management of events.

Cindy has worked with Upavon Management for over 10 years and is an outstanding operations manager.  Her firm leadership ensures that venues and suppliers deliver their best.  Cindy is a real professional in the management of speakers from a myriad of different events.  Her calm and polite manner puts speakers at ease and her thorough attendance to trouble shoot on site including the management of presentations and sound knowledge of the importance between the audio visual teams and the speakers ensures that all presentations run smoothly and the speakers can be the best that they can be.

Caidan has an exceptional skill of creating order from chaos.  She is meticulous in her work and ensures that the highest level of efficiency is prevalent throughout all the administration relating to any event managed by Upavon.  Her care and attention given to all attendees combined with her excellent communication and project management skills ensures and everyone that attends an event managed by Upavon has all the information that they need to ensure their attendance is hassle free. Caidan takes particular care in ensuring exhibitors and sponsors derive maximum return from their investment in any event managed by Upavon.
